It was YOU!?!! That makes me happy alllllll over. Hee.

We just got home, checked the messages and got a hangup. Donna said, "Huh. Yay. Blank message. Again."

I just assumed it was one of my many stalkers.

Obviously I was right.

i thought i hung up before the beep... so tell "donna" i'm sorry for the blank message.

you have no idea how disappointed i was when nobody answered. obviously i was hoping to talk to you, but i also was sort of hoping donna would answer so i could find out for sure that she's real.

Here's a wild suggestion: call again. The law of averages would suggest that you will eventually get through.

no, i'm not going to call again because you'd be expecting me to do that. and i'm nothing if not random. besides, who exactly is the "law of averages" guy, and what makes him think i'll eventually reach you just by making an additional call? i'd much prefer to have some sort of guarantee of availability. that seems significantly more certain than "eventually", don't you think? of course, then i'd HAVE to call, else you'd be upset. and that's the last thing we want. maybe i'll just make random phone calls and if you're not there, i'll write about it. and if you are there, you can entertain me.

or i'll never call and just continue to contribute pointless bullshit on your blog - like you've become accustomed to receiving from me.

i'm going to have to think about this.

Hehehehehe.

I choose both! Booooooth!!!

You had to be expecting that one. I mean, you know how demanding I am, Doug. (nods ever so seriously, agreeing with herself)

wow. your blog could definitely be related to mine. especially since we have very, very similar posts.

except... i left a message.

cb - my blog has been searching long and hard for a long lost relative. you have no idea how happy you've made it.

so what was your message? i haven't had an original thought of my own in months so some suggestions would be very much appreciated.

well, yay for blog family reunions. glad we could be helpful.

my message? oh, nothing original. i think i said something that communicated that i had received her call, and was returning it, and nothing more. i don't want to talk to her, see.

(bad bunny. bad, bad bunny.)
