i had no idea that moving in with my girlfriend would lead to significantly more dishes and garbage.
but it has. laundry too, but i already do a significant amount of laundry so it seems less surprising. anyway, t and i have been living together for... hmmm... let's see. about three months (not quite). i'm not sure where all of the garbage comes from. and the dishes... oh the dishes. when i lived by myself, at my last place, i lived there for almost eight months. when i moved in, i bought one bottle of liquid dishwasher detergent. there was still a little bit left when i moved out. we've been here three months and are already into our second thing of detergent.
good thing i think she's really neat.

Watch out for the dirty potatos....
c - i have a feeling "dirty potatos" is a synonym for something else. not sure i want to know. but i do appreciate the advice.
maybe the way you lived before involved germ-ridden half-cleaned dishes and you should be ashamed of yourself.
k2 - that's a silly, silly comment. i have a germ phobia. so although i am ashamed of myself, it's not due to a germ-ridden half-cleaned dishes lifestyle.
well consider me scolded. i have your NBA pics...i will post them when my job gives me just a freaking second.
excellent. i'm very excited. you're my favorite person in portland.
damn straight. and posted, they are.
Have you ever considered the fact that since you live with your gorgeous and talented, super smart and funny, yet approachable and sweet girlfriend, her predilection for picking up glasses that are lying around and yours for using the same glass for long periods of time, whenn added, multiply the dishes? And also, the fact that perhaps, just perhaps, the garbage has increased because people around here are less recycley?
Nothing to do with her. She's perfection.
